About Me

I am in my senior year at USF pursuing a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in painting. Currently I am exploring many different mediums and techniques while working on refining and developing my painting style. I have a colorful, graphic, abstract style with sharp jagged lines inspired by my passion for both printmaking and stained glass. I am interested in exploring the ways that these mediums impact the way I approach painting. This semester, I started an internship with a stained glass artist, learning how to make large scale windows. After seeing the way light changes and affects color in stained glass pieces, I have been inspired to experiment with new ways of incorporating light and shadow in my work. In printmaking, I specialize in screen printing. Screen printing involves a precise process of layering color and shape, causing me to think more strategically about how I create my compositions. It has also caused me to consider the line between fine art and graphic design, and how I can blur the boundaries.
